Sensei László Harsányi was born on 4 June, 1963. From 1982 to 1987 he studied at Kossuth Lajos Military College. Having got his mechanical engineer degree he served as a professional military officer. During this period, he learned the North Korean military close combat, the Kyoksul techniques from Korean instructors. From 1997 to 1999 he studied at Godollo University of Agricultural Sciences Teacher Training Institute and graduated as a Mechanical Engineering teacher. In 2011 he got a degree in safety engineering at Zrinyi Miklos National Defence University.

In 1993, together with his students, he founded a new style organization, the Hungarian Goju-Ryu Karate-Do Federation (www.gojukai.hu).
From 1994 to 2013, he was a student of Shihan Takeji Ogawa. He studied Kyusho under Shihan Evan Pantazi, President of Kyusho International, and learned acupressure at the Natural Healing Foundation.

Today, he is proud to have students holding 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th dan ranks, as well as competitors who have achieved podium finishes at WKF Hungarian Championships and placed at the European Goju-Ryu Karate Federation European Championships (www.egkf.net).

Since 2013, he has been a student of Hanshi Kuba Yoshio, 10th dan Okinawan grandmaster. He is the European representative of Okinawa Karate-Do Kenpou-Kai and the Chief Instructor of the International Goju-Ryu Karate-Do Sakura-Kai.
